One big problem is that not every draft class has a true franchise QB available. If the Jets drafted EJ Manuel, Geno Smith and Matt Barkley in 2013, they'd still be looking for a true starting QB today.

I mean, Mike Glennon is probably the best QB of the 2013 class, if that tells you anything. There's rarely the depth of QBs that 2012 offered.

If I'm the owner and I look at the talent they passed over for those three guys -- Travis Kelce, Sheldon Richardson, DeAndre Hopkins, Le'Veon Bell, etc. -- I sure wouldn't be happy with my GM.

In reply to <a href="http://www.footballperspective.com/would-drafting-three-quarterbacks-in-one-draft-be-a-good-idea/#comment-327126">Adam</a>.

Conversely, the coach is still taking on risk if he drafts three QBs when they have other glaring needs on the roster.

"We need pass rushers, defensive backs, etc. -- and you're wasting picks on three QBs?!"

It also sorta admits to the owner and front office that you're not confident in your picks and are relying on luck to some extent -- which of course they are -- but I imagine they want to create the impression that they know what their doing.
