Hi Chase,

Nice work as usual. I've got to say that I am not particularly comfortable about the Iron Bowl at the weekend - Alabama "should" win this but we've all seen stranger things happen. Most rating systems seem to have them at anywhere between 8 and 12 points better than Auburn (I'll be honest I think the line will move between 9.5 and 10.5 - a couple of people are showing 11 at the moment) - I just don't feel comfortable though.

A couple of things still get me going forward - the consensus line for Alabama vs FSU in the Championship game is currently Alabama -4.0 to -5.5 (with the Golden Nugget in Vegas reporting multiple limit action on FSU at that line). Every rating system going seems to have FSU as the number one team out there - but gut feeling would still tell you to take Alabama (the team that might not even get to the Championship game). It's the case of your still the Champion until some tells you that you are not I guess. I think the line is probably on the basis that Alabama have been the shortest future odd since pre-season and still are, and you can't have a favourite giving points but it just doesn't feel quite right with me.

Also Baylor - I love the concept of ratings systems but I just can't think of a logical way of dropping them out of the top 3 (but have seen several systems that have them in the lower half or even outside of the top 10 - which if you could weight the SRS I think would stand up, especially given the number of injuries they have at the moment which reflected in their performance last week).
