Arizona State and Northern Arizona played in consecutive weeks in ’34 and ’35:

That must have been a scheduled home and home, since it took place in the middle of the season.

In reply to Norwegian Blue.

UCLA-USC was almost always UCLA's final game of the season. But sometimes (maybe most times), USC-Notre Dame was AFTER the UCLA game.

I am guessing that the USC-Notre Dame game this year was already scheduled (or could only be scheduled on Notre Dame's end) for Thanksgiving weekend, so the Stanford-UCLA game had to flip-flop with the USC-UCLA game? Maybe TV just wanted USC-Notre Dame to play Thanksgiving weekend.
