					<description><![CDATA[Correction: Frank Tripucka was actually the first quarterback ever to throw for 3,000+ yards in a season. While Johnny Unitas may have done it in fewer games than Tripucka did, he hit 3,099 yards on December 18, 1960. Whereas Tripucka hit 3,038 one day earlier on December 17, 1960. Thus making Tripucka the first quarterback to 3,000+ yards in a season. I guess it helped that his number one receiver led the AFL for each of the first six years of it&#039;s existence!]]></description>
