Not sure if he’ll be active anytime soon, but he’s the only coach of any kind to inherit an 0-16 team 🙂
Speaking of which, (after performing miserably in this one, getting only Reeves) I couldn’t even remember the name of the 0-16 coach, and had to check his career total.
Well, Rod Marinelli just missed the 50 games cut, but if it was lowered to 48 (which makes sense for modern day coaches), he’d be the second worst ever at 10-38 (20.8%) and by far the worst of post-WWII. Unlikely he’ll ever get to 50…

Hey, he’s the only active coach to have to start with an 0-16 team! He seemed to have made pretty good progress his first 3 seasons.

I didn’t follow them close enough to understand why the Lions struggled in 2012. Did that Thanksgiving fiasco create some sort of mental block for the rest of their season? Injuries?
