HOF lock means different things to different people. I&#039;ve got no doubt that he&#039;ll get in, but then again, I thought Strahan would get in on the first ballot.  Polamalu started 142 games; that&#039;s not a short career, but it&#039;s bordering on short.  Given the way the HOF acts, nothing will surprise me anymore.  Would the Hall make Polamalu wait for both Ed Reed and Dawkins? That sounds exactly like the sort of silly thing that could happen. 

In any event, I don&#039;t want to derail the comments here, since this isn&#039;t about Polamalu. That comes Wednesday!]]></description>
