In reply to Richie. Perhaps. I think it also depends on the QB and personnel you have. If you've got a strong-armed QB and a legit deep threat, you'll probably want to throw deep more often.

In reply to Four Touchdowns. Maybe. But I think if the line was allowed an advantage, coaches would still prefer to throw the ball short with a higher chance of completion.
