In 1944 the Cardinals and Steelers merged for that one season.

The Browns have now gone 0-11 for the second straight year. The Oilers didn’t do that, and the WW II Cardinals played a 10-game schedule. So Cleveland joins the first two years of the expansion Bucs as the only teams in NFL history to have back-to-back 0-11 starts in a season.
