You are proxying position for the main factor in completion %, pass length by assuming RBs catch shorter passes than wide receivers. I think that&#039;s generally reasonable, but it doesn&#039;t work for MIA and NE&#039;s TE targets. 

MIA: 50 completions last year to TEs, avg pass length 5.38 yards
NE: 53 completions to TEs, avg pass length 8.47 yards

MIA: 28 incomplete passes targeted to TEs, avg pass length 7.86 yards
NE: 39 incomplete passes targeted to TEs, avg pass length 11.67 yards

NE should have a lower completion % than MIA. Brady&#039;s passes to TEs were longer on average than his passes to other receivers, while Tannehill&#039;s passes to TEs were shorter on average than his passes to other receivers.]]></description>
