Very disappointing considering what they gave up in return for trading up from #16 to #8 with the Bills to get him. They were obviously enamoured with him after his final season at West Virginia and his starring role against Oklahoma and expected many such returns like that but they failed to materialise. That game against Oklahoma flattered to deceive and was the only time he rushed for 100 Yds.

The Rams were hoping to be able to trade Austin but not surprisingly there was little to no interest and he was expected to be released but the Rams decided to keep him for 2018.

Tavon Austin has had a disappointing career, I think the Rams expected more production from the eighth overall pick in the 2013 draft.
