That Ram/Steeler Super Bowl is memorable for me because the media questioned Rams head coach Ray Malavasi as to his reaction being an 11.5 point underdog. Malavasi replied that there isn’t a team 11.5 points better than the Rams. The media then went back to line maker Bob Martin for his take and he stated that “If Malavasi could coach as well as we set the line, they wouldn’t be an 11.5 pt dog”.Frank Corrall missed an extra point and the Rams lost 31-19

And the underdog won two of those three! And the Rams actually led Pittsburgh in the 4th qtr although finally losing by 12.
