Both Harris (who left the game in the 3rd Qtr against the Colts after gaining 132 Yds) and Rocky Bleier were absent from the Steelers’ team that lost to Oakland in the AFC Championship game and the Raiders’ success that day was due in no small factor to the injuries sustained by the two 1,000 Yard RBs the week before.

The 1976 Steelers are regarded by some as being the best Steelers team in history and without the injuries to Harris and Bleier could well have won a 3rd straight SB.
