" In playoff games when the weather was 35 degrees or below, dome teams have won 3 of 25 games. The three exceptions: Minnesota in Green Bay in 2004, Atlanta in Green Bay in 2002 and Indianapolis in Kansas City in 1995."

Lin. Freakin'. Elliott.

On the subject of missed FGs by Chief kickers - if Succop makes the FG at the end of the SD game, the Colts would have beaten four 12-game winners.

re: Passing yardage curse.

I've heard this stat before, but I guess I've never really thought too much about it. I just assumed that Kurt Warner led the league in passing yards in 1999. I couldn't think of who beat him. Turns out it was Steve Beuerlein by 87. (I had Beuerlein on my fantasy team that year. I should have remembered.

Good thing Warner didn't throw for 88 more yards that season!
Good thing Peyton Manning didn't throw for 22 more yards in 2006, or he would have choked again!

In 2001, if Warner had thrown for 800 fewer yards, then maybe Vinatieri would have missed the game-winning field goal in the Super Bowl.
