The 2001 call was the right one based on the rules at the time. The 1976 call was based on home field refs.

I have always wanted to see coverage of that MNF game between the Cardinals and Cowboys in Week 9 of the 1970 season. I have seen the “This Week In Pro Football” highlights for that week but MNF games were never covered in those programmes.
