You used to see this from time to time in the CFL in the late 90&#039;s early 00&#039;s.  It was usually the case when the opponent punted to you and you were catching it in the end zone while only up by a point or two.  You run your punter out there to field the kick and punt it back so that you don&#039;t risk taking the safety.

At least that&#039;s if my fuzzy memories of TSN commentary from a BC Lion&#039;s game from 10+ years ago is correct.  Lol.]]></description>
