2.5 wins seems extremely low. I’ll note that the 2008 and 2011 analyses came before Indianapolis collapsed without Manning and Green Bay collapsed without Rodgers. As for the correct prediction of 10-11 wins for the 2008 Patriots, that doesn’t take into account their much easier schedule in 2008, going from a 0.4 SOS to a -2.4 SOS. Given how the game has shifted more and more towards the passing game, I think a more current analysis would push that number higher.
