James, I also remember reading Brian’s article a long time ago. He was really the first mainstream analytics guys to do anything with air yards, so credit to Mr. Burke for pushing this topic into discussion.

Thanks, Ajit! Agreed, this data is not meant to be the final word on anything, but it definitely shines some much needed light on a dark corner of QB analysis. Bayes Theorem is a great compliment to this kind of hard data, which I will be using more of in future articles.
