He was showing me some of his moves on the field one day. He told him how he would try to end a touchdown reception by pointing his ball hand at the defender, flipping the football onto the back of his hand, and returning it back to his palm as he crossed the end zone. I had seen that move on one of the highlight reels as a child. It might be fun to see it again. I have a photo from Life Magazine of Hugh and his hands. His wife wrote on the back of the clipping that his hand spanned 15 and a half inches.
