Overall, the list “feels” right…we’ve got all the heavy hitters that we’d expect at the top. The one team that you never hear much about being a GOAT is the 2000 Titans (#13 in total DVOA)…the 2000 Ravens get a lot of love (deservedly) for their defense and for winning the SB, but that Titans defense was lights out that year.

I run an online football game, and I would love to have each team to have it’s own VOA numbers. I think I understand most of what you posted, but not quite. Andreas, if you read this, any tips on taking this to use with other data?

I have all the box score data, but getting the right formulas to have it come out seems a bit daunting on first read.
