Seahawks win less than one would expect?

12-6 in 2012.
16-3 in 2013.
14-5 in 2014.

42 wins against 14 losses. A clean .750 win pct.

Out of those 14 losses, how many games did the Seahawks lose by more than 10 points?

Zero.

How many of those losses were more than 7 points?

One.

In fact, if you take thier average loss differential it would probably fall between 4.75-5.75 per game.

Making the Seahawks competitive factor extraordinary in thier losses and being the only team in the league in the last three years that has never been blown out.

And we know the Defense has been historic.

But per DVOA, Seahawks often play the toughest defenses being in the NFC West as well as getting the Panthers three years in a row.

Seahawks offense has ranked top 8 in DVOA offense the last 3 years.

Furthermore, this has been with an O-Line that has been oft-injured and a rag-tag group of average to good WRs that were far from dominant.

You put Wilson on the Broncos or Packers or Cowboys. Teams with good to great O-Lines, solid RB stables, and extraordinary WR/TE groups...Russell would blow all you haters away especially considering he would get much more throwing volume and less game management restrictions on those teams.

no, I saw that. Perhaps i'm phrasing it poorly. I'm not saying Wilson-led offenses perform badly, but the Seahakws win less than one would expect. To me, that indicates sub-optimal game management (whether by coach or qb (or OC, very likely)) but superior talent.
