instead of focusing on the college end, what about the pro end? Is there any effect of expansion reflected in this graph? Or of the WFL or USFL?

Or simply that with the premium on the position more QBs are being drafted early. 2011 stands out in that regard.

I always thought Jeff Garcia’s career was interesting. He’s kind of forgotten, but he was always better than perceived. Being a journeyman never got him the respect of say, Matt Hasselbeck in Seattle, but he was around that level of performance. Its fitting that he was undrafted. The “no respect” QB, in my opinion.
