It would. Though their mid-season acquisition of Marcell Dareus seems like maybe they wanted somebody to help stop the run. And he seems to have helped the raw numbers. Jacksonville averaged allowing 4.9 ypc before Dareus, and 4.1 with Dareus. (No opponent adjustment.)
